February is the month of love. We buy trendy gifts and make time to celebrate no matter what stage of life we’re in. This year especially, the world could use more love and kindness. To help you celebrate this month of love, challenge yourself to spread kindness in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day.
Often times it can be hard to think of kind acts, especially socially distanced ones. Luckily, Redbubble created a 14-day love and kindness calendar to keep you on track. You can choose to follow the calendar in order or skip around, checking off each heart as you complete an act of kindness.
In addition to the calendar, there are printables to help you complete the challenges. For example, if you’re baking cookies for a neighbor, attach the cute cookie tags to put a smile on their face. If you want to give away some of your old books, include a printable bookmark with your favorite quote to make the gift more meaningful.
These kindness ideas will spread love and kindness throughout your community and make you feel good as well. After all, random acts of kindness have been proven to reduce your stress, anxiety, and depression.
These are also great activities to do with the whole family. Explain the challenge to your kids and have them complete it with you. Let’s get started by using this love and kindness calendar!
